I'm here celebrating, eating, and thanks giving with some old family friends. The father of the family works with a woman who used to work at Weiden+Kennedy and he made a phone call and got us an agency tour. It is the day after the turkey holocaust and most people are either
still sinking into their tryptophan-induced coma's or marauding through crowds of rampant shoppers during Black Friday. Thus we were privy to a personalized tour of a huge, empty agency and my imagination ran wild, extrapolating what kind of fun goes on in this "office". I mean, how hard could it be to deal with the stresses of the Ad World when your boss will host a free Ratatat concert in the office during a slow day (click the link to check it out)?
Pretty safe to say, I'd love to get an internship here in the foreseeable future to hone my strategic thinking while relishing in such an awe-inspiring creative shop.
Here are some photos of "The Nest" in their office. I can only imagine what kind of meetings/ thinking goes on in there. Click the photo to make bigger.
